Crocheted Cable Clutch

The clutch with crossed dc were made by using very soft bulky yarn.

Supplies

100g of ‘Fuwafuwa Bagle’ or other bulky/super bulky yarn

8.0mm crochet hook

Yarn needle

Abbreviations:

Sc = single crochet

dc = double crochet

FPdc = front post double crochet

BPdc = back post double crochet

sl st = slip stitch

Special Stitch Instruction:

Cable = skip 1dc, 1FPdc in next dc, going behind the 1FPdc made, 1FPdc in dc just skipped

Instruction:

Flap of the bag:

Row1: ch27, 1dc in 5th ch from the hook, ch in each ch. Turn.

Row2: ch3(count as dc), BPdc in next 2dc, [dc in next 2dc, BPdc in next 2dc] repeat across, end with 1dc in top of ch3 below. Turn.

Row3: ch3(count as dc), 1cable in next 2dc, [dc in next 2dc, 1cable in next 2dc] repeat across, end with 1dc in top of ch3 below. Turn.

Row4-8: repeat row2 and row3.

Body of the bag:

Row1: ch1(do not count as sc), sc in each stitch. Turn.

Row2-41: repeat row1.

Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Fold the bag between row21 and row22, then attach the yarn on right bottom corner, sc around on the three side.

If you would like to change size, make beginning ch multiple of 4.
