This scarf is made by 100% wool, but it suitable for any type of yarn like cotton or silk for spring and summer.

150g of `Shiori` or other fingering/sport yarn
3.50mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
Finishing Measurements:
Approx. 15cm wide and 172cm long
Abbreviations:
dc = double crochet
sl st = slip stich
Special Stitch Instruction:
Back-loop-dc = insert hook in back loop only and make double crochet
Back-loop-dc2tog = insert hook in back loop only and make double crochet two stitches together
Back-loop-dc3tog = insert hook in back loop only and make double crochet three stitches together
Back-loop-dc4tog = insert hook in back loop only and make double crochet four stitches together
Instruction:
Numbers in ( ) at end of rounds tells you the number of stitches in the row.
Round1: ch4, 4dc in first ch. Turn. (5dc)
Round2: ch3(count as dc), 2back-loop-dc in first, back-loop-dc across, 3dc in last dc. Turn. (9dc)
Round3: ch3(count as dc), 2back-loop-dc in first, back-loop-dc across, 3dc in last dc. Turn. (13dc)
Round4-14: repeat round3. Round14 should have 57dc, or continue to desired wide.
Round15: ch2, 1back-loop-dc2tog in next 2dc, back-loop-dc across, 3dc in last dc. Turn. (57dc)
Round16: ch3(count as dc), 2back-loop-dc in first, back-loop-dc across, back-loop-dc3tog in last 3dc. Turn. (57dc)
Round17-148: repeat round15-16 or desired length.
Round149: ch2, 1back-loop-dc2tog in next 2dc, back-loop-dc across, back-loop-dc3tog in last 3dc. Turn. (53dc)
Round150-161: repeat round149.
Round151: ch2, back-loop-dc4tog in next 4dc.
Fasten off. Weave in ends.
If you have a small hole at the side of scarf, work with dc instead of back-loop-dc at the last stitch in each row.
If you want to change its size, just increase 4dc in each row until you reach desired wide, then increase 2dc at one side and decrease 2dc at the other side until you reach desired length, then decrease 4dc in each row.
