Supplies

2.5 balls of ‘Wister Salute’ or other bulky yarn

6.00mm crochet hook

Yarn needle

 

Abbreviations:

ch = chain

sc = single crochet

sc2tog = single crochet 2times together

sc-blo = single crochet back loop only

dc = double crochet

fpdc = front post double crochet

bpdc = back post double crochet

sl st = slip stitch

 

Special Stitch Instruction:

cluster = (yarn over, insert hook in stitch, yarn over, pull yarn thru stitch, yarn over, pull yarn thru 2loops on hook), 2 times, yarn over and pull yarn thru all 3 loops on hook.

 

Beg-cluster = ch2(do not count as dc), (yarn over, insert hook in stitch, yarn over, pull yarn thru stitch, yarn over, pull yarn thru 2loops on hook), yarn over and pull yarn thru all 2 loops on hook.

Row2: beg-cluster in sp below, skip next cluster, 1bpdc in next dc, skip next cluster, [(1cluster, ch1, 1cluster) in next ch1 sp, skip next cluster, 1bpdc in next dc, skip next cluster] repeat around, 1cluster in same sp as beginning clustger, 1sc in top of beginning cluster. Turn.

 

Row3: beg-cluster in sp below, skip next cluster, 1fpdc in next dc, skip next cluster, [(1cluster, ch1, 1cluster) in next ch1 sp, skip next cluster, 1fpdc in next dc, skip next cluster] repeat around, 1cluster in same sp as beginning cluster, 1sc in top of beginning cluster. Turn.

Attach the yarn in same foundation ch as beginning cluster made

Row2: ch1(do not count as sc), sc-blo in each sc, join with sl st in beginning sc.

 

Row3: repeat row2.

 

Fasten off, weave in ends.
